Website Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use this website. Please read them before you get in touch. Effective 19 July 2026.
These terms apply to your use of the Nurture Postpartum Support website. By browsing this site or sending me an enquiry, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. They’re written to be read alongside my Privacy Policy.
1. Who I am
This website belongs to Nurture Postpartum Support (“Nurture”, “I”, “me” or “my”), a postpartum doula service run by Michelle, serving Christchurch & Canterbury. You can reach me at hello@nurturefamily.co.nz or 021 586 079.
2. Using this website
You’re welcome to browse this site and get in touch about my services. In return, please use it only for lawful, personal purposes. Please don’t try to interfere with how the site works, gain unauthorised access to any part of it, copy it to pass off as your own, or use it to send spam or anything harmful.
3. The information on this site is general
The content here is provided in good faith to help you understand what I offer. It’s general information, not professional, medical or health advice, and it isn’t a substitute for care from your midwife, doctor, Plunket nurse or other qualified health professional. As a postpartum doula I provide practical and emotional support, not clinical or medical care. If you have a health concern about you or your baby, please talk to a health professional. In an emergency, call 111.
I keep the information reasonably accurate and up to date, but I can’t promise it’s always complete or current, and details such as pricing and availability can change.
4. Enquiries and bookings
Sending an enquiry or asking about a package doesn’t create a booking or a contract on its own. It simply starts a conversation. We’ll confirm the details of any support together, and the specific terms of your care (such as hours, pricing, and cancellation) are agreed separately before your support begins. A free consultation is exactly that: a no-obligation chat.
5. Intellectual property
The content on this site, including the text, the Nurture name and logo, photographs and design, is owned by me or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other rights. You’re welcome to view and share links to the site. Please don’t copy, reproduce or reuse the content for your own commercial purposes without my written permission.
6. Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, such as Work and Income (WINZ) and my social media pages, to be helpful. I don’t control those sites and I’m not responsible for their content, accuracy or their own terms and privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
7. Availability of the website
I aim to keep the site available and running smoothly, but I can’t guarantee it will always be available or free of faults. I may update, pause or change parts of the site at any time without notice.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss or damage that arises from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or other New Zealand law that can’t be excluded. Where those consumer guarantees apply, they sit alongside these terms.
9. Your privacy
How I handle the information you share through this site is set out in my Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time as my service or the law changes. The date below shows when they were last updated, and the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any matter relating to them or to this website.
12. Getting in touch
If anything here is unclear, or you’d like to talk something through, please email me at hello@nurturefamily.co.nz. I’m happy to help.
